Recipe for preparing Honduran Enchiladas

Honduran enchiladas are a very popular food in the neighborhoods and colonias of Honduras.


  • 1 pound special ground beef
  • 10 corn tortillas
  • ½ pound cabbage
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 onion
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Coriander to taste
  • ½ pound Grated cheese


  1. Cook the ground meat with a quarter of a tomato, finely chopped, a quarter, and a finely chopped onion.
  2. Fry the tortillas and put them to drain
  3. Chop the cabbage
  4. Prepare the chimol with green chili, tomato, onion and fine coriander, salt and a pinch of pepper,
  5. Scratch the cheese
  6. Place the meat on the tortilla, then the cabbage, the chimol and finally the cheese



  • You can use lettuce instead of cabbage
